Meet Beaver Brook Ranch: The Farm Behind Every Jar

Most skincare labels give you an ingredient list and nothing else. Ours starts with an address.

Beaver Brook Ranch sits in Blairstown, New Jersey, a family owned operation where the cattle graze on pesticide and herbicide free pasture year round. That last part matters more than it sounds. Keeping a herd fully grass fed through a New Jersey winter is not the easy option. It means growing and storing your own hay, on your own land, so the diet never has to shift to grain when the pasture goes dormant. No antibiotic treatments, no hormone implants, just cattle raised the way cattle were raised before efficiency became the only metric that mattered.

The tallow itself is dry rendered from kidney suet, the cleanest fat on the animal, and triple filtered before it ever leaves the process. No deodorizers, no bleach, no citric acid, no synthetic stabilizers of any kind. Every batch gets tested for water activity, which is a way of saying we check that the fat is genuinely shelf stable before it becomes anyone's moisturizer, not after.

We could have sourced tallow from a bulk supplier and never told you where it came from. Most of the industry does exactly that. We would rather you know exactly whose pasture this came from.

So, hi again, Beaver Brook Ranch. Thanks for the years of work that happen long before anything reaches a jar.
