Meet the Kallo Classic: What Is Actually In Your First Jar

This is the one. Our first hero product, the one everything else in the pipeline gets measured against. The Kallo Classic Daytime Moisturizer, 2oz, $38.
It is whipped, light, and nourishing, built around grass-fed tallow sourced in New Jersey, African shea butter, and a short list of natural oils. Small batch, no synthetic fillers, nothing added to stretch the formula or mask what the base ingredients already do well.
What it actually does
Deeply moisturizing is the headline, but the texture is the part people notice first. It is lightweight and silky going on, not the heavy, greasy sit that a lot of rich moisturizers leave behind. That comes down to formulation, not luck. Arrowroot powder balances the richness of the tallow and shea butter so the finish reads soft and refined instead of thick. Pearl powder adds to that same smooth, refined feeling on skin. The result is a moisturizer that smooths and calms without leaving a film behind.
Naturally fragranced, honestly explained
We do not add synthetic perfume. The scent comes entirely from essential oils, tea tree, frankincense, and lavender, plus a soft honeysuckle note. That is a genuine natural fragrance, not an unscented product, and we want to be upfront about what that means. Essential oils are real, active botanical ingredients, and a small number of people are sensitive to specific ones, lavender and tea tree included. If you have known fragrance sensitivities, patch test the Classic the same way we would tell you to patch test any new tallow product, on your inner arm or jawline, before committing to full face use.
The full ingredient list, briefly
Grass-fed beef tallow and African shea butter form the moisturizing base. Vitamin E oil is in there as a natural antioxidant that also helps stabilize the formula's oils over time, part of why we can honestly say this is a shelf stable product, not just a fresh-batch one. Castor oil, jojoba oil, and sweet almond oil round out the texture, each one chosen for how it feels going on rather than as filler. Pearl powder and arrowroot powder handle finish and glide. Tea tree, frankincense, and lavender essential oils, plus honeysuckle, handle scent, with no synthetic fragrance anywhere in the formula.
How to use
Warm a small amount between your fingers and press into skin, morning or after cleansing. A little goes further than you would expect from a typical lotion, which is part of the cost per use argument we have made elsewhere in these pages. This is not a ten step product. It is one jar doing the job several products usually split between them.
