Hi, We're Kallo — Welcome to the Tallow Times

If you're reading this, you've just found the internet's newest obsession with a very old ingredient. Welcome to The Tallow Times — our little corner of the internet where we talk ingredients, share the science (and the skepticism), and let you in on everything happening behind the scenes at Kallo.

Here's the short version of our story: two Babson College friends, one shared love of skincare that actually works, and a growing frustration with an industry that kept selling us more steps without more results. So we went back to basics — quite literally. We found an ingredient that's bioidentical to what your skin already makes on its own, sourced it from a real farm we can name (hi, Beaver Brook Ranch 🐄), and built a brand around one very simple idea: your skin doesn't need more. It needs better.

That's where the name comes from, too — Kallo, rooted in the Greek word for inner beauty. Not a filter, not a finish. Just what's actually good for you, working the way it's supposed to.

So what can you expect from The Tallow Times going forward? Think of it as your standing invitation into the lab (metaphorically — Jay would not let us near actual lab equipment). We'll cover:

• The science behind why tallow works (and where the skepticism is fair)
• Our sourcing story, straight from the farm
• New product drops before anyone else hears about them
• The occasional deeply unnecessary cow pun
